Jared Jalbert

Personal Training Manager

Jared has been coaching athletes since high school, cultivating a passion for working with people to help them better themselves. Whether that means improving their athletic performance or even just brightening their day, he utilizes his expansive knowledge base to encourage healthier living. Jared holds a Bachelor's in Exercise Science from Springfield College, in addition to several accreditations including Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA-CSCS), USA Weightlifting (USAW), and CrossFit-Level 2. Jared's mission, both as a professional and a person, is to extend his outreach to as many people as possible; his philosophy emphasizes self-awareness and self-accountability in order to promote a healthier, more holistic lifestyle.

Mariette Martinez

Personal Trainer + Crossfit Coach

Mariette holds a BS in Physical Education and Strength and Conditioning from Limestone College as well as an MS from Sacred Heart University in Exercise Science and Nutrition. During her time at these universities she was a part of the Women’s Soccer All-American Team and Powerlifting Team at Limestone and the Weightlifting Team at Sacred Heart. In addition, she was also Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Sacred Heart and Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at The Winchendon School. When training clients, Mariette specializes in developing a solid foundation of technique and movement patterns as well as increasing sports performance. She also designs research programs catered to individual client needs to help them reach their goals. In her free time, Mariette is an active participant in anything related to sports and plays on the Boston Renegades Football Team as an WR, DB and Kicker. She also enjoys weight lifting and spending time with her dog.

Cole Frederick

Personal Trainer

Cole holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Augsburg University with minors in Business Administration and Psychology. He is also CPR/AED/First Aid certified. In addition, Cole has worked as a personal trainer with JM Custom Fitness and Absolute Fitness where he conducted individual and small group personal training sessions. Cole has also spent time coaching a youth swim team and working as a swim instructor for all levels of experience at Camp Sea Gull in North Carolina. During his time as an undergraduate student he also volunteered at the Strength and Conditioning Center at Augsburg University. Cole has experience working with clients to achieve a range of different results including weight loss, bodybuilding, strength and conditioning, improving general motor skills and coordination, and corrective exercise. When training clients, Cole likes to focus on developing the best training program for the individual, he values creating a program that is truly catered to the specific needs and desires of every individual. Cole believes the key to long term health and fitness developments need to be intrinsically motivated, for that reason he tries to grasp what makes exercise enjoyable for each client and how to incorporate it into every session. He understands that everyone learns differently and is proficient in using a wide array of cueing techniques for exercise instruction and correction. In his free time Cole enjoys researching and testing new developments in the exercise field as well as watching sports with friends, family, and his dog Piper.

Meaghan Shea

Personal Trainer + Crossfit Coach

Meaghan holds a Master's degree in Applied Exercise Physiology from Columbia University-Teachers College as well as several certifications, including Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA-CSCS), Medical Exercise Specialist (AAHFRP-MES), Certified Personal Trainer (ACE-CPT), Pre/Post Natal Trainer and CrossFit Level 1 Trainer (CF-L1). She discovered her love for fitness while playing collegiate softball and fell into the industry shortly after graduating. She was a practicing fitness professional in New York City for 13 years before recently moving to Cambridge and joining the team at CAC. While in New York, Meaghan grew to be the Director of Education at a school for aspiring fitness professionals as well as for a staff of 20+ trainers, overseeing curriculum and instructing on the science and application of exercise science to professional personal training. She has also had roles in fitness media, previously serving as a Fitness Editor and contributing writer for several fitness magazines. It was through these many different roles that she came to appreciate the underlying importance of education and communication to helping people achieve their goals – whatever they may be – and she continues striving to emphasize these attributes to each of her clients. After over a decade in NYC, Meaghan is excited to continue her fitness career in her home state. She hopes to also find a local softball league and continue playing the sport that originally sparked her love of fitness.



Robin Amylon

Personal Trainer + Registered Dietitian

Robin holds a Master’s degree in Strength and Conditioning from Springfield College. During her time there, she was a part of the strength and conditioning staff as a Graduate Assistant, working with the men's lacrosse, women's gymnastics, field hockey, and diving programs, as well as the Head Sports Dietitian for all teams. Upon completion of her degree, Robin was hired as an Assistant Professor, Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach, and Coordinator of Sports Nutrition at Springfield College. As the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach, she helped with supervising all strength and conditioning programs for the Prides' 24 varsity teams, and specifically worked with the men’s lacrosse and field hockey programs. As Coordinator of Sports Nutrition, she provided individual nutrition counseling, team talks, grocery store and dining hall tours, and cooking demos for all varsity athletes. Robin has presented at various speaking engagements on nutrition, with the most notable at the NSCA Connecticut State Clinic on “Performance Nutrition Strategies for the Collegiate Athlete.” Currently, Robin is an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach and Sports Dietitian at Boston University.
