Youth Basketball Programs

In our Youth Basketball Program, kids will develop basic basketball knowledge and techniques through drills that will allow them to practice their dribbling, shooting, and passing. While the kids are developing their handles, we will also be working on their communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills in order to be stronger teammates. Our youth instructors will provide an inclusive, welcoming, and safe environment for kids to learn and have fun.

Fall/Winter Sessions begin November 9th at Cambridge Athletic Club 215 First Street. Here​ is our Enrollment Tutorial. 

1.

All in attendance are required to wear a mask at all times in the facility.

2.

All participants must fill out & sign a Health Form before each class.

3.

15 minutes between classes to allow for room to clear and be cleaned.

4.

No-touch hand sanitizer & water-filling stations are available throughout facility.

5.

Each child will be allowed 1 spectator to sit socially distanced on balcony above court.

Beginner Basketball
3-5 Years Old,

In the Beginner Basketball Class, our young athletes will begin to learn the basic fundamentals of basketball. Learning the basic skills of passing, shooting, dribbling, while also partaking in fun games and activities to increase their enjoyment of the sport! 

Intermediate Basketball
6-9 Years Old,
Co-Ed

Saturdays 10:30am-11:15am

In our Intermediate Basketball Class we will work closely with the fundamentals of basketball. Teaching our athletes through more in depth drills and activities, ball control, jump shot techniques, different types of passes to each other. As well as putting them in a team simulation working together to accomplish a certain goal before time runs out. But still, keeping a heavy focus on creating a fun atmosphere where kids continue to be excited each week! 

Advanced Basketball
10-12 Years Old,
Co-Ed

Saturdays 11:15am-12:00pm

 In our Advanced basketball class: We will be increasing the drills for the kids to effectively teach them the different aspects of basketball. Introducing some competitive games / activities to track their personal progress. We will also be simulating actual basketball game scenarios as well to really introduce the athletes to how to play in a game, what spots to go to on the court. The main focus will be creating an enjoyable environment to ensure our athletes are excited each week to return. 

Middle School Basketball
Middle Schoolers,

We understand that middle schoolers want to take the next steps in their athletic journey. What better way then to do it with two instructors / trainers who have experience playing at the collegiate level. With an assortment of drills working on different skill sets we will work to develop each athlete, and help them become a more rounded player. We will also be keeping shooting percentages of the players so that we can track their growth and see the progress they have been making. This will be a 6 week course where we want to turn weaknesses into strengths, and improving what our athletes are already strong at.
