As a Certified Personal Trainer & Nutritionist, they'll help you reach your fitness goals. < Back Vicky Baican Certified Personal Trainer & Nutritionist Vicky obtained her masters degree in Finance and Banking from the University of Babes-Bolyai in Romania where she is from. Since moving to America she has studied at the International Sports Sciences Association where she obtained her certifications as a Personal Trainer. She is continuing to obtain certifications as well, her next one being in Nutrition. When training clients, Vicky focuses on form and helping clients achieve their goals and fitness dreams. She also believes fitness is life and teaches her clients how to stay toned and how to maintain a healthy and balanced lifestyle. Vicky's own focus is on strengthening and glute workouts and she strives to teach her clients movements for injury prevention as well as sports performance and strength. Vicky has played sports her whole life and has always maintained a healthy, fit lifestyle. She played volleyball, soccer, table tennis and gymnastics. In her free time, she likes to read, listen to stoicism, watch movies and documentaries as well as take walks and hang out with friends. Her favorite hobby though is helping people in need by preparing boxes of clothes to send to orphanages in her home country Romania or the Salvation Army. We hope to reopen on June 29th. Here's a detailed plan we have in place to ensure the safety of our members, guests, and staff. Club Updates Here's a detailed overview of all the changes we've put in place to ensure the health and safety of our members, staff, and guests. Please read carefully, as we have updated procedures. SAFETY UPDATES 01 Updated mask policy Starting March 14th 2022, Masks are optional for all members, guests and staff. 02 State of Amenities All showers, steam, sauna and towel service are open for use. 03 State of Sports Sports resume 6/1/2021. Squash Round Robins and Pick-Up Basketball will resume. 04 Air Flow & AIRPHX Our state-of-the-art HVAC system allows for enhanced air flow ventilation. Filters are being changed regularly, and maintenence completes daily checks. We additionally have installed the latest in complete indoor disinfectant systems, AirPHX. The unit ensures a proven reduction of germs and odors, allowing our club to achieve hospital grade levels of disinfection. 05 Membership Billing CAC unfroze all memberships and resumed normal billing cycles when we opened our doors, Monday, July 6th. No one was charged during closure. We have allowed for extended freezes for anyone hesitant to come in, or whose company is still work from home. Any questions can be directed to carla@cambridgeathletic.com. 06 Protective Shields Plexiglass barriers have been installed at the front desk at both 215 First St and 600 Technology Square to ensure additional protection for front desk staff and members. Cardio equipment at all locations is separated by personal plexiglass shield barriers. 07 Cleaning protocols While we have always prioritized cleanliness, we have spared no expense upgrading the club to the latest equipment and protocols. All disinfecting products are registered effective in EPA listings related to COVID-19 and other viruses. We doubled our disinfectant stations and increased our supply of disinfectant wipes and hand sanitizing stations, which are approved by the EPA for use against COVID-19. They will be available throughout the club. 08 Feeling sick? Stay home We continue to ask that anyone stays home who: feels sick; or has been in contact with someone who is sick. Our staff has been notified of this protocol, and are encouraged to stay home if displaying any symptoms as well.

From the Perkville site click the “Refer a Friend ” link, and submit your friend’s email as a referral. You can also access this on the CAC App. Then your friend can visit CAC via a Free Day Pass. Once your friend signs up for a CAC membership, you are automatically rewarded for the referral (as long as you referred your friend via Perkville prior to their CAC visit and they used the same email address). If your referral was not entered correctly, please email alexandria@cambridgeathletic.com . You will see your referral points within 10 days.

This industrial-style health club is open for member use 24/7, and is monitored by live security footage. Then, rinse off before work in our newly renovated locker rooms with waterfall faucet heads. CAC OKS has everything you need for a pre- or post-work workout. Bachata Bachata originated out of the Dominican Republic and used to be an illegal dance that one did in the privacy of their homes. This is because many saw it as a sensual dance. However, for those that enjoyed it, Bachata was also used as a form of expression as it can emanate, as quoted by Euronews, “a vector of emotions” such as “joy”, sadness, “pain”, and “suffering”. There are different types of Bachata including Traditional Bachata, Sensual Bachata, and Modern Bachata. Traditional Bachata, originating from the Dominican Republic, can incorporate elements of the Cha-Cha; Sensual Bachata, which originates from Europe, incorporates body isolations and body movements such as body waves; and Modern Bachata, which originates from New York, incorporates many urban movements. Meet Your Instructor Hello! My name is Alexandria and dancing is my passion! I enjoy sharing various dance styles with others because dancing makes me feel alive, helps me build confidence, and promotes positive energy. I started dancing in 2018 and have since then, taught classes, performed, and increased my skills via attending various workshops and classes. My favorite dance style is Brazilian Zouk, however I also dance Kizomba and Bachata.
