Fall 2017 Group Fitness Updates – Here’s what you need to know!

Introducing LES MILLS GRIT™ &  SPRINT™

LES MILLS GRIT Strength is a 30-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout, designed to improve strength and build lean muscle. This workout uses barbell, weight plate and body weight exercises to blast all major muscle groups. LES MILLS GRIT Strength takes cutting edge HIIT and combines it with powerful music and inspirational coaches who will be down on the floor with you, motivating you to go harder to get fit, fast.

Try GRIT  at our 215 First St. location Tuesdays at 6pm and Fridays at 12:15pm.

LES MILLS SPRINT is a 30-minute High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) workout, using an indoor bike to achieve fast results. It’s a short, intense style of training where the thrill and motivation comes from pushing your physical and mental limits. A high intensity, low impact workout, it’s scientifically proven to return rapid results. The 30 minutes you put into a LES MILLS SPRINT workout drives your body to burn calories for hours. You combine bursts of intensity, where you work as hard as possible, with periods of rest that prepare you for the next effort. The payoff? You smash your fitness goals, fast.

New class ticketing system. In anticipation of the busier fall season, we are going to require tickets for the following 2 classes starting with the new schedule on Monday, September 25th:

  • RPM classes at 215 First St.
  • BODYPUMP classes at 600 Technology Sq.

When you come in for either of the 2 classes above, just let the front desk know you are there for class and they will give you ticket. As always, you can sign-up online for these and all classes starting a week prior to class up until 30 minutes before the class start time. If you miss the 30 minute sign-up deadline you can either call the front desk to reserve your spot, or just sign-in at the front desk when you’re checking in. Please note that if you are not signed-up in advance there is a chance class may be sold-out. We will reserve the spots up until 5 minutes before the class start time. Class instructors will collect your tickets before class starts.

Currently this ticketing system ONLY applies to the 2 classes mentioned above, but we strongly recommend signing-up for all classes through the website or our mobile app. If you need help logging in to your account please contact megan@cambridgeathletic.com for assistance.

LAUNCH WEEK! We’ll be hosting a launch week the entire week of September 25th to coincide with the new schedule!

This means our amazing instructors will be team teaching together and launching brand new tracks of your favorite Les Mills classes. We do anticipate these classes to fill quickly, so be sure to sign-up in advance!
